Dear Chad,

For as long as I can remember my mind has been clouded. Too many thoughts working their way around like a blizzard in my head. It was all I could do to keep pushing forward in a hope to find civilization. To find sanity.

Today my mind is clear. I feel as if I have won the battle, but it feels so bittersweet. Although I don’t have flurries of thoughts compacting my mind, I also have little to no thoughts at all. It is quiet, and it is a quiet am not used to. I am relieved yes, but also weary.

I am now searching for all of the words that will make a difference. The correct choice of words that will not lead my astray. I ask myself, am I ever really lead astray? Perhaps I am always on the proper course, rather I know it or rather I like. I do not believe in chance. I do not believe in coincidence, but I believe that everything can be determined through connection.

There are countless odds and favors which do not put me where I am right now, however here I am. Any one choice or change made along the way and I would be in an entirely new place. So now I ask myself, why am I here? What is the purpose? Where am I going? Where will I go?

Born to Fly

Dear Everyone,

You were born to fly.

Often in my life when things start to look gloomy, I think of ways I can turn those events around. Sometimes planning is hard when bad times strike out of nowhere, but maybe that is a good thing. You can never truly be prepared for anything that happens in your life, but that brings me to my first point; if you cannot prepare for everything, why worry about areas you do plan for?

Perhaps you want to try to do something new in your life like moving away, finding a new job, continuing your education, or trying out a new hobby. The road ahead may be dark and unclear, but I believe you have more of an advantage there than just sitting around waiting for something bad to happen. Rather than allowing bad events to just pop up and take the better of you, why don’t you do that to them? Think of your new journey like driving in a car down a dark road. Although you cannot see everything, your headlights illuminate just enough for you to see to keep moving forward. Life is very similar in that you cannot always see too far ahead, but you can see just far enough…especially if you have planned for it.

The start of something new!

Dear Everyone,

I hope everyone is having a great day/night! I want to share some new and exciting information with everyone! As of tonight, I have started working on a brand new website for the Dear Chad community. Essentially this website will act as a “home” for like-minded individuals to myself and the content I produce.

It will be a nice place where we can all share positive interaction, stories, and try to figure out life together! If all goes according to plan this site will be similar to various social media sites where you can sign up, send messages, chat, and interact in group discussions and forms! I want this to be a “safe-zone” where we can all work together to sort out problematic situations in our lives.

There is no point in going through life along when there are plenty of others out there suffering from the same or similar circumstances.

I will keep everyone updated with this website as I get closer to completing it!

Best Regards,

I Call This Abandonment

Dear Chad,

Continue to stay strong, you are doing an excellent job at taking control of your life. Your hardships have made you stronger, and without them, you would not be the great person you are today! Always remember that you can do anything, become anything, and go anywhere…if you simply set your mind to it.

Your mind is a powerful force that drives you, motivates you, and pushes you towards a path of succession. Be weary, because negative thoughts can puncture the dreams you have set in motion. It is up to YOU and YOU alone to make the right choices, but if you want something badly enough, you will obtain it.

Make sure everything you pursue is for the right reasons, for the betterment of yourself and others. Don’t be greedy and do not give up; the life of your dreams is just right around the corner. Now is not the time to give, but simply keep pushing forward. You are running a race. A race where there can only be one winner, and the winner is most believably you!

Best Regards,

Ups and Downs

Dear Chad,

Do you remember where your life was just last week? How down and out everything was? You were at one of your lowest of lows and now everything is seeming to look up. Although you may not be there yet, you have learned some valuable lessons. You have become stronger. Finally, you have progressed through stages that have before been impossible.

Those stages really were never so impossible were they?

In reality, you also had the strength to push through and take life by the reigns. You just needed the courage. A final push that would allow you to see for yourself, your life is in your own control.

Now take this wisdom and create more good days. Watch closely as these good days turn into good weeks, and ultimately great years.

Where do we go from here?

Dear Chad,

Sometimes in life, it’s hard to determine where to go. Often, it has hard to figure out which path will actually work, which one will set you back, and which one will push you forward. That is a gamble that we often have to take. Life would be so much easier if we could only see into the future, or even into the minds of others.

Although the mystery in life can be daunting, it can also be excited…depending on how you look at it. The important thing to remember is to keep your head held up high and keep moving forward. Every time you stop, stumble, or take a step back, you are losing another moment of possibility.

No matter what, always push forward. Stay strong. Stay positive. I know that is easier said than done, however if you practice these truths everyday, they will become a part of you.

Best Regards,

One Small step

Dear Chad,

Today was a small step towards rebuilding your life. A life you once enjoyed and embraced. Today marks the first day of the rest of your life.

One thing we tend to forget is that life is full of resets. You can reset your life at anytime as long as you are courageous, persistent, and ready for a change. Never spend your days depressed and concerned with the ideas of others or downward feelings on yourself. Life is meant to spend living, not dying. Today was a win for you, because today, you chose living.

Just think, you could have spent many more days, weeks, months, or even years being miserable in the position you were in. Instead, you chose a different path. A path that was chosen by you and for you. So now our adventure begins.

Just know that there will still be challenges ahead…no matter what path you may choose. There will be good days and there will be bad days. How you choose to go from here is completely up to you. Today you realized that the opinions and judgments of others cannot and will not stop you from anything. People will come and go. Opinions and feelings will come and go. You will always keep going. Keep moving forward. Most importantly, you will keep living.

Congratulations on your victory!

Best Regards,
